The Oldbury Partnership is not a conventional business consultancy. Our experience of construction covers all important aspects of the process from the client to the manufacture of components. We see clearly the artificial barriers in the supply chain process which are damaging construction performance, increasing risk to all parties and substantially increasing costs.

Britain is the most expensive place in the world to construct a building. We do however have some of the worlds leading architects and engineers so we should be able to construct more efficiently than most. Why is there this discrepancy?

Construction professionals are trained and experienced in projects and project management, indeed the best excel at these disciplines. What they often lack is an understanding of the importance of process and how improving process can substantially improve project performance.

The Oldbury Partnership endeavors to correct this imbalance by encouraging true partnerships and fully integrated supply chains. Our target is to reduce construction costs by 30% whilst also improving on all other important targets. We know where the hidden costs are and can help to drive them out.
